CEC head: candidates seem to combine efforts
The head of the Central Election Commission Lidziya Yarmoshyna admits that the number of parliamentary deputy contenders is decreasing – people are withdrawing their candidatures. Yarmoshyna has suggested her own opinion about the process:
"Candidates are most likely combining their efforts in favour of one person. It is really likely to be happening”.
However, the head of the Central Election Commission did not specify whether the “unification” was being observed among state or democratic representatives.
Lidziya Yarmoshyna gave an interview to ERB and noted that “the main event of the week” was reiteration of TV and radio speeches of deputy contenders that would be broadcasted form 7 to 21 p.m. Early elections will start next Tuesday.
