Campaign materials of Belarusian Christian Democracy party seized by police

The activists of the Belarusian Christian Democracy in Homel face hurdles in printing their local election materials, because the state-owned printer hints at "technical reasons" and apparently does not want to deal with the 'opposition connected' candidates. Local BCD activists wanted to print leaflets and stickers, but the state-owned printer, in charge of printing the agitation materials for the candidates, said it was not possible, citing 'technical reasons'. Even private printers were advised by the local authorities not to print the campaign materials of the opposition candidates. We were told "the order came from the top".
