The Baltic states will build a "defense line" along the border with Russia and Belarus, according to the defense ministers of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia who met in Riga.

According to the Estonian Defense Ministry, the project will be implemented in the coming years. On the border with Belarus and Russia, a number of defense structures will appear. Their purpose is "deterrence and, if necessary, defense against military threats". It is assumed that the inhabitants of the Baltic states will feel safer.

It is known that Estonia will build about 600 concrete bunkers on the border with Russia. It's not yet known how many such structures will appear on the border of Lithuania and Latvia with Belarus.

Recently, the German newspaper Bild wrote that in 2025 Russia could organize a major attack on NATO countries with the help of Belarus. It is assumed that it will be the Baltic states.
