16:18 Wages drop at 4.7% over three months
The average monthy wages in Belarus have declined 7,6 percent in January 2007 against December last year, the official data from the Ministry of Statistics and Analysis said. Currently, the average wage amounts to Br617,244.
In real terms, the wages declined at 9.5 percent in January against December last year. In the hard currency equivalent, the wages went down from $312 to $288.5. Salaries of public servants also declined down to $297.5.
