Yarmoshyna: Elections will be held after summer holidays and farm work

During the talk show "Sprava Pryntsypu" (Matter of Principle), Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission Lidziya Yarmoshyna commented on why the election date is not yet set.

Earlier, the CEC set the preliminary date of the election to both November 15 and October 11. Lidziya Yarmoshyna said that the Fall is a good time for the elections, because "everyone will return from summer leaves and farm wirk will be over."

Also, Lidziya Yarmoshyna noted that the elections should be held no earlier than October 4.

"The election campaign is to be held within three months. Therefore, if the elections are announced on June 30, they will set for no earlier than October 4. They can be set for later date as well - on November 15," said Ms Yarmoshyna.
