White-red-white flag from "Miron" in Vitsebsk

A white-red-white flag could again be seen in central Vitsebsk on the roof of a three-storey building on Gorkiy Street.

According to local opposition activist Barys Khamayda, a note was attached to the flag. It read:

"Honor and glory to famous poetess Larysa Heniyush who refused from the Soviet citizenship and remained a citizen of the Belarusian National Republic (BNR) until her last days. No life without Belarus! There is only life for Belarus! Glory to BNR's Heroes! Long Live Belarus! Live Belarus Forever! Miron".

Barys Khamayda reminded that today's appearance of the flag is yet another stage in the 'White-Red-White Marathon", devoted to mark the 90th anniversary of the Belarusian National Republic as declared by Miron, a local legendary hero. The flag in honor of Larysa Heniyush was 17th raised by Miron in the past several months, reports Radio Svaboda.
