Ukraine not to accept Georgian observers

Neither Belarusian not Georgian observer will be able to attend the Ukrainian presidential elections this Sunday. The Ukrainian Central Election Commission has not approved the list of 2 thousand people presented by Tbilisi last Friday, informs оnet.pl. As the term of registration of foreign observers is already over, and the Ukrainian CEC has not managed to consider the list of Georgian representatives, they will not be able to attend the elections.

The head of the commission Vladimir Shapoval noted that Georgians may be allowed to watch the second tour of the elections on February 7. 3 thousand international observers are expected to watch the Ukrainian elections.
