Ukraine Culture Days in Belarus on 5-10 July
The Palace of the Republic, the pompous venue in central Minsk, will host the solemn opening of the festival with the performings acts like Pavel Virski National Ukrainian Academic Dance Ensemble, popular singers Ivo Bobul, Lenara Asmanova, Zlata Agnevich, Tina Karol, Oleg Vinnik and the bands Luiku and Getman among others. In the foyer, there will be an exhibition of Ukrinain handicrafts.
On 7 July, it will be possible to taste national dishes and see the handicraft made by Ukrainian masters at the festival Alexandria Gathers Friends festival. Blacksmiths, potters, kobza players, ceramists, bandura players and vytynanky doll makers will gather there on Kupala Night. Also in Alexandria, the Kievan Rus' horse-riding show and a concert dedicated for the Ukraine Culture Days will be organized on 8 July. Artists and creative teams will perform on Alexandria’s main stage. Ukrainian artists will perform in the Homiel civil and cultural centre on 10 July.
The official Ukrainian delegation will be headed by Ukrainian Culture Minister Rostislav Karandeyev, the state news agency BELTA reports.
