Two buses collide in Ukraine. Belarusian children injured (photo)

Two buses collided in Valyn on the morning of July 11. The Etalon bus did not manage to avoid the Bulgarian tourist bus, Visnik+K reports. One of the buses was transporting Minsk children.

Four passengers died on the sport – one person from the Bulgarian bus and three from Etalon. The other three people died in hospital.

A Belarusian child died and another child’s arm was broken. 22 passengers were injured. 27 Belarusian tourists were provided with accommodation in hotels, Onliner reports.

“The tourist bus left Minsk at 10 p.m. on July 10. A dance ensemble of Belarusian children was heading for Bulgaria. The driver was a Bulgarian. Adults and parents accompanied the children. There were about 50 people in the bus.

The bus was crossing Valyn Region at about 7.20 a.m. A head-on collision with another passenger bus (the people were heading for a sanatorium) occurred on the highway Damanava-Kovel (not far from the Belarusian border),” Ukrainian driving inspectorate reports.
