Tsapkala: Belarus should build up economy of knowledge

Belarus should follow the way of the economy of knowledge, director of Belarus High Technologies Park Valery Tsapkala told ONT on the evening of June 5.

It is necessary to focus on education when building up the economy of knowledge, the expert thinks. “It would be good to have the best schools and universities here,” Tsapkala noted.

The state should give more freedom t private initiatives, Tsapkala added. “The state cannot create profitable production the way enterprising individuals can.”
