Sun Valley alpine skiing resort's launch delayed (photo)

The necessary equipment that was to be installed last fall is almost ready. However, positive temperature is needed to test it.
The Sun Valley alpine skiing resort in Minsk was solemnly opened on November 22, 2009. But it turned out later that the system that makes artificial snow had not been installed. Promises were given to get this system started in Janury, but it has not come true.

"We are now mounting the artificial snow-making system. We received the equipment from Italy: a high-pressure pumping station. After tests, we will be able to make snow and will open the slopes", chief engineer Viktar Luksha told the European Radio for Belarus.

But engineers have to wait for warm weather, at least plus 1 in order to test the system.
