Sieviarynets trying to realize his right for confession and communion
The Co-Chairman of the steering committee for creating the party "Belarusian Christian Democracy" Paval Sieviarynets sent another letter to his parents.
He thanks for the attempts to organize a meeting with a priest, unsuccessful by now, in the letter.
"According to the law, a Belarusian citizen under investigation has a right for a confession and communion, which are so important in a person's life, but in practice - there is no such a right", — Sieviarynets noted in his letter. Nevertheless, he declared hope to achieve realization of this right, which would become a "good deed" for other prisoners as well, the BCD press-center informs.
