Representatives of democratic forces make up only 0.15% in local commissions

Only 100 out of 912 representatives of political parties and subjects of the coalition of the United Democratic Forces have been included in district election commissions. They make up only 0.15%. At the same time, governmental political parties have received 1333 seats in election commissions.
BelaPAN notes that the number of democratic representatives in district election commissions has turned out to be fewer than in regional commissions were it totals 0.5%.

The UDF presidium claims that creation of election commissions was kept a secret from the public and party structures and their representatives were not included in them “for far-fetched reasons”.

Let us remind you that the elections of local deputies will take place on April 25.
