Simbirou’s trial postponed until May 18

The administrative case of “Tell the Truth’ activist, bard Ihar Simbirou had been considered in Minsk District Court today, on May 7. He was detained at a private concert not far from Minsk on May 6. Ihar Simbirou was released, reports Radio liberty.

Policemen have drawn up a report for drinking and swearing against the musician. Simbirou says that he has not drunk alcoholic beverages for over three months and that the report is calumny. The activist was ready to go on hunger-strike in protest against the injustice.
