Sharkou: Automobile owners are going to block avenues for a certain time
Another action of drivers who indend to protest against one more increase of prices for fuel is announced to take place today.
Automobile owners are going to block the city centers for a while tonight, in order to express their dissatisfaction by another increase of prices for fuel by 3% since August 20. Euroradio has talked to auto enthusiast, director of the informational-educational establishment "For Auto" Artsyom Sharkou in this regard.
Sharkou: "The action will be held at main avenues of the cities. In Minsk, it will be two avenues - Independence Ave and Ave of Winners. People will drive from two directions. In the Independence Ave - from "East" metro station and from the Independence Square, and they will stop at some place near the Circus. As for the Ave of Winners, the movement will take place from the stella to Nyamiha Street. Auto enthusiasts intend to block the avenues for a while thus declaring their protest".
In Sharkou's opinion, this action will not gather more participants then the previous one as the 3% increase of prices is not a critical line in any case.
