Sasha Varlamau's case prolonged once again - till August 20
Therefore, investigation of the famous designer's case has been prolonged for the fourth time already.
According to the information provided by BelaPAN with a reference to the official representative of the Investigation Committee Yahor Livaj, Varlamau remains in custody. No new accusations have been set against him.
Let us remind you, the designer was arrested on May 20, 2011. More than 500 people are mentioned in his case as complainants and witnesses. Varlamau is accused of illegal use of the money allocated for the "Fashion Mill" festival. According to preliminary information, more than 120 thousand euros and about 310 million roubles were used illegally.
The investigation also claims that the designer took money from the parents of underage children who participated in the fashion-shows abroad. Meanwhile, all these expenses were covered by the budget money and the money of the Belarusian State University.
