Prisoners of Babruisk colony prohibited to talk to Ales Byalyatski

According to her words reported by BelaPAN, "Platform" got a letter from the former prisoner of Babruisk colony who had been released recently. He informed about the pressure on the human rights defender in this colony. All prisoners with whom Ales Byalyatski spoke are summoned to the colony's headquarters for prophylactic conversations. The colony's administration in fact prohibited all contacts with the HR defender and threatens with punishments for breaking this prohibition, Krasouskaya-Kaspyarovich says.

Let us remind you, in November 2011, Byalyatski was sentenced to 4,5 years of imprisonment in a reinforced-security colony with property confiscation. He was considered guilty of tax evasion in especially big scope. The court did not consider the fact that this money went for the human rights activity and not to Byalyatski personally.
