NPP Situation Civil Monitoring Centre to be created
Four ecological organizations initiated the creation, however, only one of them has admitted it.
According to the leader of "Ecological Initiative" Yury Salauyeu, the centre is aimed at collecting and publishing information and "informing the public about its opinion about the NPP construction". The website is already being created and it will allow "anyone to get answers to the questions that interest them online", informs BelTA.
Let us remind you that it became known yesterday that the terms of putting Astravets NPP power units into operation may be changed. According to the draft of the general contract, the first power unit may be put into operation in 2018 and the second one - in 2020. It had been planned to happen earlier - in 2017 and 2018 respectively. The draft of the general contract is still under consideration.
