Moscow "White fashion parade" results in mass detentions
The peaceful action of the Russian opposition was organized by the League of Electors.
Participants dressed in white gathered at about 4 p.m. and walked across Red Square. They did not use any transparencies – they were just dressed in white.
They managed to reach the square without problems. However, opposition members headed for Arbat Street. According to RBK, detentions started there.
According to the opposition, more than 100 participants of the action were detained. Moscow police claim that 35 people were arrested.
