More than Br4 million collected for fined “Stop Petrol” participants

The sum needed to pay the fines that participants of “Stop Petrol” have to pay – about 2.5 million rubles – was collected on the Internet in almost a day. Many people wanted to present money personally opposite the restaurant “Zhuravinka”. On the whole, more than 4 million rubles has been collected in less than 2 days!

"I think that the fines are unfair as well as the very fact of detention of these people, - said one of the action participants. – I would like to express gratitude to the people who were in the avenue, to those who took part in it. And to support them. We will be able to achieve something if we stick together”.

Alyaksandr Redzkin was fined for 525 thousand rubles for applauding to protesting drivers while in the footway.

"I am very grateful for the support, - says Alyaksandr Redzkin. – Moral support is even more important than material support. That is why money does not matter much. It is great to understand that you have this support”.

As a result, it has been collected even more than necessary. Some of the people fined for “Stop petrol” will appeal against their fines and will look for photo and video proofs of their innocence.
