Minsk city executive committee announces contest for new Minsk brand

"We have announced the contest through the tender center of Minsk city executive committee. It will be conducted among the companied which elaborate the city brand of Minsk. One company will be chosen in the end. Thus, there is no need to design the brand before the contest is over", - head of the informational touristic center "Minsk" Alena Plis has told Euroradio.

Let us remind you, it was decided to create the brand of Minsk before the Ice Hockey World Cup, appointed on May 2014. The city authorities already received an offer of cooperation in elaboration of the city brand from the British company. The Brits asked 300 thousand dollars for this work. However, the city authorities decided to involve Belarusian designers into this work in the end.
