He started having problems after his brother, ex-member of the group "Almaz" responsible for the security of presidential candidate Alyaksandr Kazulin in 2006 had left the country. Syarhei Makar was offered to lure his brother back to Belarus but he refused. Then he and his wife started having problems.  The police officer has also described the rigged election and the fight with dissidents in his interview.
