Lithuania denies entry to Belarusian anti-nuclear activists

According to Euroradio's information, anti-nuclear activist from Astravets district Mikalaj Ulasevich and member of the civil organization "Ecohome" Tatsiana Novikava were going to Lithuania to take part in the Lithuanian Seimas session. However, the web-site udf.by informs that Ulasevich and Novikava planned to take part in the international scientific conference on nuclear safety.

Anyway, the incident is connected with the intention of Lithuania to build its own NPP, as the Belarusian activists were going to protest not only against construction of the Astravets NPP, but against spreading of nuclear energy on the whole.
