Katerina Karsten makes it to Olympics final

The Belarusian athlete showed the result of 7.44,94 and got the third place. Thus, we can hope for another Olympic medal for Belarus in the final, which will start on Saturday at 2.30 p.m. Belarusian time in London. 

The Belarusian academic rowing four oar in the squad of Alyaksandr Kazubouski, Stanislau Shcherbachenya, Dzyanis Mihal and Vadzim Lyalin failed to make it to the final. They got only the 5th place in the semi-final.

Belarusian swimmer Pavel Sankovich did not pass the qualification at the distance of 100 meters butterfly. He showed only the 34th result.

Let us note, that Belarusian judoist Yauhen Byadulin also failed to get to the quarter-finals today. He lost to world champion Russia's Tagir Haibulayev.
