Journalist Tatstsyana Bublikava released three hours after detention
No report had been drawn up in the police office.
Let us remind you that the journalist was detained in Pershamaiski District Court during a hearing where the Belarusian State Broadcasting Company was the defendant. As Bublikava said to Euroradio, she had been indignant at the judge’s prejudication. The girl endured it for a long time and then she stood up and said: “You might as well say the black is white”. Then Bublikava left the court room. The judge considered her behaviour to be contempt of court.
The judge ordered the police to detain the girl. According to her, there can be two variants. The three hours she spent in the police office may be enough. The judge may also want to punish Bublikava for contempt of court. However, the girl says that it will be difficult because no protocol has been drawn up.
