Halip: Ministry of Internal Affairs presented 2 versions on one day
Andrei Sannikau’s wife has commented on the version presented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs yesterday.
Let us remind you that an anonymous source in the police informed that Sannikau has pled for mercy on December 23. By the way, Alyaksandr Lukashenka gave a press conference on that day and claimed that political prisoners could be released only if they pled for mercy.
Halip: "Journalists started phoning the Ministry of Internal Affairs after my press conference where I announced that Andrei had pled for mercy on November 20 after tortures and threats. They were told: it is Halip’s fib. They got a new version by the evening. It simply proves that they had been consulting some higher authorities the whole day: what to do, what to say?"
