"Gasprom" takes interest in Belarusian non-state media
"Beltransgas" representatives started addressing to editors' offices.
They suggest signing agreements for
advertizing. Alongside with that, they request full details about the funders
and the owners of the independent media, referring to their new owner, the
Russian "Gasprom".
In the opinion of nn.by, "Gasprom" takes such interest because it plans to
buy the Belarusian media. Let us remind you, the holding
"Gasprom-media" works since 1998. It owns dozens of TV and radio
channels, newspapers, magazines and Internet-portals in Russia and former USSR
countries.
