Fullback Yahor Filipenka played for BATE as… goalkeeper (video)

Six matches of the 23rd Major League tour of the Belarusian Football Cup were played on Sunday. The main match was BATE – Minsk “Dynama” in Barysau. It turned out to be very interesting and ended in a tie – 2:2. The Minskers were outscoring after Furlan’s goals (the penalty shot during the 49th minute and the goal during the 73rd minute). However, Vital Radzivonay tied during the 65th minute (and was injured in the process) and Yahor Filipenka scored a goal during the 75th minute.

The last 14 minutes of the game: Barysau goalkeeper Alyaksandr Hutar was sent off the field and replaced by fullback Yahor Filipenka. However, “Dynama” did not manage to reach BATE’s gates to score a victory goal by the end of the match – the hosts were controlling the game.

BATE has 49 points now, “Shahtsyor”- 40, “Homel” – 35 points a one more match to play and Minsk “Dynama” – 32 points.

The matches of the 24th tour will be played on September 10 and 11. “Shahtsyor” will compete with BATE.
