Euro exchange rate reaches lowest level in 16 months
European financial markets have reacted to the increase of interest rates in France this way.
The euro exchange rate has decreased and reached the lowest level in 16 months if compared to the dollar due to financiers’ concern about the state of European banks.
The European currency has also dropped in comparison with the Japanese yen. The financial markets were affected after France had increased interest rates on credits, reports the BBC.
