Driving inspectors stop Maryna Koktysh and… present flowers
Driving inspectors stopped Maryna Koktysh’s car (journalist of “Narodnaya Volya”). The inspectors checked her driving license and presented her a magazine,
flowers and seeds instead of a search.
Maryna Koktysh has informed Euroradio about it.
Koktysh: “I have received an unexpected present from the State Driving Inspectorate. They stopped me near a pedestrian crossing and asked me if I knew what I had violated. They studied my driving license and documents. I was very nervous at first. Then a driving inspector said that they had decided to congratulate me, smiled and presented me flowers and a gift”.
Maryna says that she violated the road rules a few days ago and has a note about it in her license. If she had violated the rules again, she would have had to pay a huge fine. It explains her tension and anxiety that changed to a smile, recalls Maryna.
