A Belarusian has sold 40 million roubles at the Medicinos bankas foreign exchange office situated at Vilnius railway terminal today. Another Belarusian who also sold roubles there has informed Euroradio about it:

"That guy bought dollars and sold roubles. There are about 5 people in queues. But everyone spends from 20 to 30 minutes near the foreign exchange office. It is because many people are selling millions”.

The employees have confirmed to Euroradio that Belarusians bring huge sums of money from time to time. However, the majority of them sell from 3 to 5 millions.

The exchange rate is 4200 roubles for 1 dollar and 6150 – for 1 euro in Lithuanian banks now. The rate may change a few times during the day, said a bank employee.
