Belarusian Catholics celebrate Easter

Metropolitan of Minsk and Mahileu, Arch-Bishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz has noted in his Easter pastoral epistle: "The Son of God came to the world where sins and death dominated. However, He came to be the Life of the world among death and miseries. Sick and leprous people strived to Him, fathers of dead daughters and mothers of dead sons, etc. Jesus spent his life among the blind, the lame, the numb, the deaf, the sinners, the demon-possessed and others. Living in the world of miseries and death, the Lord of the Life yielded to it on the Cross and came to the grave".

Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz greeted the believers with the happy and salvific holiday of Easter. He greeted other Christians who celebrate it today, and the Orthodox Christians, who will sing "Hallelujah" in a week.

"The Resurrection of Christ is our common Christian holiday, which calls on us not to look for the alive among the dead and to celebrate the victory of life. Let's unite our spiritual powers and efforts in defense of the God's truth, which leads to real life and happiness in the God's love, which no one can take away from us", - the Arch-Bishop said.
