BATE players welcomed in Minsk (photo report)

Barysau BATE players have returned from Austria by a charter flight today, on Thursday. They defeated Sturm in Graz yesterday (2:0) and made it to the group stage of the Champions League.

The football players hurried to leave as soon as they arrived. Some of them took a taxi, others were met by girls with cars. A taxi driver asked Dzmitry Baha (in the picture) who had scored a goal and whether his passenger was the person who had done it.

A few dozen fans and journalists met BATE players and accompanied them with applause.

Renan Bressan noted that he would like to compete with “Barcelona”, “Milan” or some English club in the group stage of the Champions League.

Head of the board of directors of BATE Anatol Kapski has informed that the club will donate part of the prize fund won for making it to the group stage of the Champions League to restore a church destroyed in the Soviet time.

Bressan had to answer all questions while the others were leaving or waiting in the bus.

Victar Hancharenka is sure that BATE deserves the victory.

Those who were not met or who did not want to take a taxi set off from the airport by the club bus.

A cool Lexus arrived for Anatol Kapski.
