Anton Surapin faces 3-7 years of imprisonment?
He is suspected of assisting in a case of illegal crossing of the border.
The guy was interrogated by an investigator for the first time on Monday. Deputy chairperson of the Belarusian Association of Journalists Andrei Bastunets has informed "Solidarity" about it.
Surapin was detained on July 13. He spent the whole week-end in KGB detention centre. The fact that he had been arrested for 10 days became known on Monday.
According to Bastunets, the prolongation of the term of detention does not mean that Surapin will be charged.
Let us remind you that the guy was the first to have published photos of the teddy bears thrown over Ivyanets and Minsk from a Swedish plane on his website. Surapin says that he had received the pictures from an unknown person.
