Aliaksej Yanukevich: There are no grounds to announce emergency situation

The BPF party demanded that the authorities should conduct urgent and objective investigation of the circumstances of tragedy in Minsk metro. The BPF party urges the law-enforcement authorities to refrain from using this incident as a ground for a new wave of political repressions.

"It is likely that the Kremlin authorities are interested in this, — the BPF Chairman Aliaksej Yanukevich thinks. - To frighten Lukashenka this way, like, you do this and that, otherwise there will be de-stabilization here..."

Yanukevich agrees with the opinion that the people will not be bothered with absense of currency or sugar anymore. "However, did the people's moods seem so dangerous to inspire such actions?", — the politician asks.

Yanukevich also sees no reasons for the authorities to announce emergency situation in the country, the possibility of which is actively discussed in the social networks.

The politician has also informed live on air to Euroradio that the BPF party has started collecting donations to help the casualties after the metro blast in Minsk.
