Polish Sejm deputy Robert Tyszkiewicz not allowed to enter Belarus

Belarus has informed the deputy that the refusal is based on the Geneva Conventions and that he is “a persona non grata in the Republic of Belarus”. A deputy of the Polish Sejm representing the Civic Platform Robert Tyszkiewicz set off for Belarus together with the delegation invited by the Polish Consulate in Hrodna and the Union of Poles in Belarus not recognized by the authorities on the morning of July 11. The other three Sejm deputies of the Law and Justice -  Marek Matuszewski, Tadeusz Woźniak and Krzysztof Maciejewski have managed to enter Belarus.

According to "Kurier Poranny", the delegation of deputies headed for Belarus to take part in the events dated for another anniversary of the Operation Ostra Brama (the operation of the Armia Krajowa aimed at liberating Vilnius from Germans in 1944).
