Policeman seizes white-red-white flag from Ales Pushkin

A famous artist Ales Pushkin is celebrating the Freedom Day "in a constructive way" today. He is painting a draft project of Bobr's municipal improvement in the center of the town. "It's cold, my hands are freezing, but I'll handle it", — Pushkin says. According to him, the town of Bobr, which has been first mentioned in connection with the Battle of Virsha in 1514, is celebrating the 500th anniversary this year. He is going to send the draft project to the rural council and the district executive committee. He suggests installation of a monument to a beaver in the center of the town, and the town arms - on the rural council's building.

Ales Pushkin says that two police cars and a snow-remover are standing behind his back. The police didn't let him hoist the white-red-white flag. "The deputy head of the local police Dzmitry Melnik took the white-red-white flag out of my pocket and put it in the police car", — Ales Pushkin has said. He is going to complain to the public prosecutor's office about this.
