Police raid United Civic Party's office in Hrodna

Seven special police officers led by Maj. Syarhey Vechar are raiding the office of the United Civic Party in Hrodna which was today scheduled to host the launch of the web site of the United Pro-Democracy Forces, Maxim Hubarevich, a  deputy chairman of the Popular Front party in Hrodna, told the European Radio for Belarus. Meanwhile, the van carring the participants of the presentation has been released from Lida. It was stopped by the traffice police. The activists were held for 1.5 hours at a local police station and later were let go without any charges.
