Police get interested in Lyabedzka’s car after entrepreneurs’ meeting

Пасля мітынгу прадпрымальнікаў міліцыя зацікавілася аўтамабілем Лябедзькі

Driving inspectors got interested in the car belonging to UCP leader Anatol Lyabedzka after the entrepreneurs’ meeting. The politician’s car was stopped in the yard of his block of flats. The inspectors told him that he had violated the road rules.

Then they decided to examine the luggage – Lyabedzka had put posters and banners in his car after the entrepreneurs’ meeting. The police demanded that Lyabedzka followed them to Minsk Central District Department of the Interior.

The action was held in the centre of Minsk on February 28. Its participants gathered in October Square and held a meeting there. Then they walked to Independence Square and organized another mini-meeting there. The people were protesting against Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s decree #222 because it had created serious obstacles to private entrepreneurs’ work.
