Passenger trains collide in Switzerland, 49 people injured (photo)

Passenger trains have collided in Switzerland this morning. At least 49 people have been injured. The accident occurred in Rafz, a town to the north of Zurich. Medics and rescuers from the whole area arrived on the spot. The trains collided when leaving the railways station in Rafz, RIA Novosti reports.

A high-speed train from Zurich and a local train that was leaving Rafz for Schaffhausen collided, BBC reports. A few carriages left the track and turned over.
