A few hundred participants of the Immortal Regiment manifestation organized by pro-Russian activists gathered near the RSDLP museum in Minsk on the morning of May 9. Besides the portraits of their relatives war veterans, some of the people brought the portraits of Stalin, Lenin, Soviet Union flags and Saint George ribbons.

The action participants were not allowed to organize a separate manifestation in the Belarusian capital. They were offered to join the official festivities where Belarusian symbols were used.
