OSCE experts decide journalist Biabenin committed suicide
This is stated in a message published at the OSCE official web-site on November 23.
The inspection of the incident site, confirmed by documents, the objects collected there, the investigation's results and the analysis of the collected materials give no grounds to doubt the conclusions of the official investigation, the experts decided. Verbal testimonies, which were in the case materials, including those of relatives, friends and colleagues, have not contributed any additional facts or proofs, stated in the OSCE's message.
According to the experts' opinion reported by BelaPAN news agency, the thanatopsy results and the material proofs collected at the incident site clearly show that the reason for death was suicide through hanging.
At the same time it is stated in the message that the OSCE had been asked to give their technical estimation, not to investigate this tragic death fully.
