Open Air Test Sets/Tones lands on three stages near Hrodna

Three Belarusian bands - Electrofood, DrummAndBass[BY] and Euthanasia conducted a joint Open Air Test Sets/Tones on Saturday. They gathered about 1.5 thousand young people in a forest not far from Hrodna. The organizers presented three main trends of electronic music – there were 20 DJs performing on three stages in a night forest near Hrodna.
I prepared for a hike and headed for the very outskirts of Hrodna instead of going to bed on Saturday evening. I got on a bus and it took me several minutes to get to the place where the bands Electrofood, DrummAndBass[BY] and Euthanasia had organized the Open Air Test Sets/Tones. There were three dance floors for fans of different kinds of electronic music. Electro, the chief organizer and a representative of the ELECTROFOOD band describes the events that took place on the main floor:

Electro: "The main dance floor represented LIVE music – people playing their own music. We have very few musicians to present only ambient or only techno on one floor. It is impossible to create a LIVE music floor to present only one style there. There are not enough people, not enough musicians. We invite everyone we encounter and try to work with them”.

The majority of DJs performed on Electrofood’s stage:

There were Coda, CH, Orange, Exnistagm, Gexid, Pavel Ambiont and others. That’s why people were impressed by a great number of styles that seemed incompatible. Dj Adrin from EUTHANASIA compared the things happening in the Live-scene to Kazantip and noted that such music suited anyone:

Dj Adrin: "There was rave music - the music of the beginning of the 90s. It was like Kazantip music or something like that. Simple and light music for a great number of people who could come regardless of their previous musical experience and it would satisfy them. It would not irritate anyone. People say that new things are often irritating at first…”

Immortal drum and bass was played on the second stage. However, it was rather hard even for experienced fans because the room was very small. That is why some ravers fled from there despite of the presence of such famous DJs as Subway Funk, Valcool, Izo, Io, Nobel and Tenix, presented by the band DrummAndBass[BY]:

A visitor: "I love drum but the room is… very depressing. The ceiling impends over you like a 214-kilo freight”.

The third stage, the trance dance floor, was presented by Euthanasia. It was created according to the best tradition of the genre:  the best trance from dj Flo,Uvhiol,Trick,Adrin, Delas and dj Kendoo. There was a lot of fluorescence light and lasers.

Speaking about the general impression of the open-air, visitors agreed that the night happening near Hrodna was a success:

"You just need to have a rest here! Everything is so cool here! Feel that you are a human being, an uncommon and wonderful person! You are here and everything is for you! Have a good time!”
"It is the first time we have come here. We have not got used to it yet. It is very original but it’s… I don’t know. We will see”.

"It is something inimitable! There is nothing like this anywhere! It is cool, I am full of emotions. This music in such a setting drives you into ecstasies”.

This is what the Open Air Test Sets/Tones Tosya Kuts attended in a forest near Hrodna was like.
