Minsk not to fulfill housing development plan

The deputy head of the National Statistics Committee Uladzislau Metsezh claimed it at a press conference on October 22.
57% of the expected amount has been built in the capital during 9 months. At the same time the official noted that the housing development plan was set too high in the capital.
Metsezh: Maybe it is not necessary to build so many houses in Minsk.  It may be better to develop small towns and districts. The President has also paid attention to it. However, I think there will be 6 millions.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has demanded that Minsk City Executive Commetee should stop contacts with private construction companies that have stopped housing development today.
