Mass fingerprinting launched in Belarus again?

According to the information agency REGNUM, all Belarusian citizens liable for call-up are being summoned to Departments of the Interior for fingerprinting. The police insist that women should also come this time, especially doctors.
The first mass fingerprinting was organized in Belarus after the act of terrorism that had occurred on the night of July 4, 2008 in Minsk. All men were fingerprinted then. However, people received phone calls from military registration and enlistment offices back then but they are receiving phone calls from the police now.

The coercive fingerprinting is conducted for the people who took part in the mass protest actions of December 19. The REGNUM agency also informs that many people summoned to the police claim that they were not only fingerprinted but made to allow taking videos of them. Those who refuse to do it experience physiological and physical pressure.
