Main Brest clothes factories switch to three-day workweek
A three-day workweek has been introduced in one of the biggest Brest clothes factories “Nadzeya” “for an uncertain term” staring from this Monday.
Second, the “Elma” company works according to a “4 days+” schedule and workers are informed whether they will have to work on Friday on Thursdays. Engineers and the sewing workshop have to use the short schedule.
“Nadzeya” gives placement to 200 seamstresses and ether are about 300 workers at “Elma”.
