Mahileu City Executive Committee refutes permission to conduct meeting against decree #60
Officials from Mahileu City Executive Committee have refuted the information that they have allowed a meeting in protest against President’s decree #60. The disclaimer has appeared in the website of the Executive Committee. Let us remind you that it was informed that the meeting would take place near the House of Culture on July 24. A protest against presidential decree #60 limiting the sphere of the Internet in Belarus has to be announced there.
According to officials, organizers wanted to conduct the action in Soviet Square. Meanwhile, such actions can be conducted only near Chalyuksin Street, 64a in Mahileu. That is why the officials have not allowed the action.
