Lukashenka indignant at Russian mass media’s comments

Russian Ambassador to Minsk Alexander Surikov also attended their meeting in Minsk.

It is inadmissible that some Russian mass media described Belarus’ suggestion to send Russian aircrafts to Belarus for joint maneuvers as an appeal for military assistance, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said.

"Some Russian TV channels put Belarus on the same level with Crimea: Lukashenka is scared and he has asked Russia for help,” interfax.by quotes the Belarusian leader.

"Why are you doing it? You should better say that you have been asking for it for a long time. That is why I suggested that Russia landed here,” Lukashenka claimed.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka will ask Russia to send 5 additional fighters to Belarus, he claimed on Wednesday.
