Lukashenka expected in Iran in October

The visit of Alexander Lukashenka to Iran is scheduled for October this year, Iranian Ambassador in Minsk Saed Abdolah Haseini said today during a news conference in the Belarusian capital. He said the Belarus leader wished his visit to coincide with the launch of the Jafeir project which is associated with the industrial drilling of crude oils, reports Belapan. When asked if the supplies of the Iranian crude to Belarus are possible, the diplomat answered as follows: "We are ready to render any assistance which Belarus will ask for". He refused to comment on the tensions in the Belarus-Russia relations over oil shipments.
