Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi to visit Belarus for the first time today

The leader of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Muammar al-Gaddafi will visit Belarus on November 2-4.
Negotiations of Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Muammar al-Gaddafi will take place on November 3. Bilateral agreements are expected to be singed after them.

The Belarusian President paid an official visit to Libya in 2000. Gaddafi’s visit in response to it was to take place in 2001 but was postponed for an unknown reason.
